I first met Vickie when she came to Potters Place to take classes 23 years ago, soon after I opened Potters Place.  At that time she was still a principal at a local middle school.  After getting to know one another we discovered our connection.  Our boys knew one another in high school ROTC.  Through the years we shared becoming grandmothers.  Our boys still stay in touch.  

 

While still principal, Vickie  establishing a Pottery Club as an after school program for as many of her students who wanted to participate.  She has touched so many.

Today, Potters Place is grateful to have some of the now retired Vickie’s time.  She teaches the Thursday and Friday morning classes.  She created the Totem Project for Potters Place which everyone will see in a couple of months.
