We offer many different types of classes, services and activities. These include Special Orders, Adult Wheel Classes, birthday parties, Girl or Boy Scouts merit badges, group outings, parties, or corporate team building.

Join us for a 3-day hands-on play date with clay n’ glaze! Through the magic of glaze play, you’ll be introduced to unorthodox methods of glazing your work. We’ll explore low fire, highly fluxed, reactive, and crystal glazes.
For example, learn how to pair Mayco’s Jungle Gems Cone 04-06 crystal glazes with Mid-Range SW series temperature Cone 5-6 glazes. All these techniques are designed to create a dazzling palette of finishes and these glazing methods can be used in bowls, shallow dishes, teacups, cylinders, and vases!Classes
For ages 18+. Try your hand at the pottery wheel. Under instruction by a staff member, you can make a bowl and select your glaze colors. In 4 -6 weeks, return to pickup your creation. This is a great way to get together with friends and have a blast.

Cost: $60.00 which includes clay, instruction, paint/glazing, and firing. Appointments required.
Classes meet weekly. Each class is 2½ hours long. Includes instruction, glazing, and firing. Minimum age is 18.
Based on your skill level and your own personal schedule, you will be placed in a specific class that meets at the same day and time every week. Each class is 2½ hours long, including instruction, glazing, and firing.
Cost: $170.00/person. Class size is 10 wheel + 2 hand building students. 12 hours of extra studio time each month. Clay is $25/25# bag and a tool kit for $29.75 without tax.
Classes
Let our studio be your studio. We have a fully equipped studio with wheels, slab roller, large extruder, etc., and a wide selection of commercial clay bodies and glazes. Clay, glazing, and firing extra. Call ahead to check on wheel availability.
Cost: $15.00 per hour.
We offer firing services for kilnless potters. We bisque at cone 04 and glaze at cones 05, 5 and 6.
Cost: Please ask for pricing.
Looking for finished pottery for your home or office? We will make it for you. Our “personal potters” can help with design, function and glaze.
Cost: varies
These lessons are designed to advance the skill level of the potter. Having trouble with a particular technique or form? Book a private lesson. Private lessons are not a substitute or alternative for One-Time Wheel lessons.
Cost: $60.00 per hour for 1 person
Maximum is 3 people.
Workshops
Treat that special adult or child to a Birthday Party at Potters’ Place. With the help of staff members, each participant will create an item from clay. Ages 13 and up can throw a piece on the potters wheel and each pottery piece is food, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. Delivery time is usually 4 to 6 weeks. While we make every effort to ensure the success of each piece, imperfections can occur. In such an instance, we “Embrace the Handmade Look!" Cost: $60.00 per participant
